Update My Closet

I did another thing on my bucket list a while ago, I just haven't posted it. I updated my closet!! :D :D

It was like a couple days after my family and I got back from my grandmas a few weeks ago. I had forgotten my suitcase and needed brand new clothes. So my mom and sister went on a little shopping spree, which ended with me getting some better clothes than I had packed. (not that the stuff in my suitcase wasn't cute, it's just I got some nice new stuff too.) My closet was already full to the brim when I got back, so the new clothes wouldn't fit, I could already tell. So I emptied it all out, got rid of some stuff, and then put all the clothes back in, in an organized system. Sweatshirts--Long-sleeved--half-shirts--shirts--tank tops--dressy clothes. On the bottom rack:  Summer pants(shorts, capris)--dressy pants--jeans--workout/sweats. I got it all in a system now. Sort of a boring story, but it gives people good organization tips :)

I hope to finish more on this bucket list before school starts in a couple of weeks! Registration is already planned! D:

State Fair

Our State Fair came around this week, and my family goes for one day every year. We don't go on rides or anything, because we do that at a different fair, but instead we just eat and look at exhibits and eat. Mostly eat.

I had a media pass to get in free, which is pretty dang awesome. I was all like cool showing my badge, and them like, you can go in for free!

Well, when we got there I ate cheese curds. Those things are DELICIOUS. Especially dipped in ranch. Oh, I love them sooooo much. Then I shared a strawberry-banana smoothie with my dad, since I knew I wouldn't be able to eat one on my own.

Then we went to the exhibit hall where the art and writing we entered was displayed. I got two blue ribbons (1st place) and one red ribbon (2nd place) for my pieces of art! AHHH! That's amazing for me! My art has never gotten anything besides honorable mention in art I think. Then I saw my story, and it got THIRD in like the adult division! (everyone above 14 is in that division.) THAT IS AWESOME! I AM SO GLAD I WORKED SO HARD!!!!! Last year I had an honorable mention, which is still good since not everyone gets a ribbon in writing, unlike art.

Next we went to this like wildlife exhibit, and we shot guns and my sister also fished and shot a bow and arrow. Let me tell, you, I have won bb gun shoots against boys, so I was a pretty good shot. I'm pretty good, not to toot my own horn or anything. (toot toot) Anyways, part I thought was funny was that I was wearing a Bambi shirt while shooting the gun. Well, it's a little awkward I think.

We went around to some exhibit halls that sold stuff. My dad and I bought some sour candy, while my mom and sister bought some nail art stuff.

I tried a flowering onion. It was really good! And I DIPPED IT IN RANCH. RANCH MAKES EVERYTHING 10X BETTER, I'M SURE ITS A SCIENTIFIC FACT. My family decided we would share stuff when we are eating, cause no way can I eat a flowering onion on my own. Have you seen them? They're huge! I also had some chocolate dipped strawberries on a stick. Can't go wrong with those. I had an Indian taco for dinner. It's fried bread dough with taco meat, lettuce, cheese, ya know, regular taco stuff, but no shell. They are extraordinary. Try one. Then you'll believe me. Funnel cake was dessert. Yummy. Pretty sure I tried like everything they had to offer. *sarcasm, but it felt like I ate everything*

We left the fair by walking through the midway, and it smelled like puke. I can't imagine how many kids puke on those rides. Yuck.

Good day overall.
It's always a great day when you eat fried fair food.

R.I.P

OK CAN EVERYONE JUST STOP DYING FOR LIKE ONE DAY? REALLY THOUGH. AND CAN EVERYONE JUST STAY IN ONE PLACE. I MEAN I KNOW WE ALL WANT TO LEAVE OUR HORRIBLE SMALL TOWN BUT CAN WE ALL STAY A DAY SO WE ARE ALL ACCOUNTED FOR?????

Cory Monteith. Talia. One of my teachers. People are dying or dead. It's really sad!

Rest in peace Cory. I loved Glee. It was an amazing show. (I did not like Season Four, that's why I said "was" but let's leave that for a different post.) I'm so glad I got to see you in concert. I wish I would have been able to meet you one day. You were an amazing singer and actor. My favorite songs you did were Thriller/Heads Will Roll and Faithfully and so many others but the list is too long for this post.  I hope you doing great in Heaven, and you are with Grilled Cheesus :') R.I.P.

Rest in peace Talia. I only ever saw you in photos about how you just kept swimming. It's so sad to see someone taken by cancer. At least you aren't in pain anymore. You've inspired a lot of people, and you have a legacy that will live on for a long time. R.I.P.

We lost two people, but Heaven gained two angels.

WHY DOES THIS STUFF HAPPEN??? WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?? I'M NOT SAYING CORY WAS PERFECT, WITH THE DRUGS AND ALL, BUT HE WANTED TO LEAVE ALL THAT BEHIND. WHY DO BAD PEOPLE GET OFF WITH JUST LIKE A WARNING OR SOMETHING??????? IT MAKES ME SICK.

I mentioned my teacher before. I won't mention names or anything, because I don't want any of you to figure out who I am somehow. She is a great person, but has 3 types of cancer, and maybe won't even make it to the end of summer. She is the best teacher, the most inspiring person I have ever met. I am so honored that she was my teacher. She is still alive, but barely. Our whole community is rooting for her. Her husband is also sick, and he also has a disease that can't be cured. They have two wonderful adopted children. I know she can fight this. But no one knows how long her fight will last, and if she'll win or lose. If she loses, so everyone knows, you could have never met a kinder, more caring person.

Why does stuff like this happen?

We Can't Stop

Hey guys! Remember when I made that Summer Bucket List? Well, I do, and I decided I better get started on it considering half the summer is already over :(

Well, I got the last one on my list done:
I did it! I chose Miley Cyrus' new single, We Can't Stop! Some of you probably are like, why would you pick THAT song? This is why: It's a great party song, which makes it a great summer song! Come on, some of the lyrics are "We can't stop, and we won't stop! Can't you see it's we who own the night?" That pretty much is like summer! We do what we want, when we want, and no one can stop us! And it's catchy, and Miley is a great singer!

What do you think of my song choice?

America, Band, Cousins, Drama, and Everyday Fireworks

Hey! I know, I know, I haven't been posting in a while. But there is a perfectly good reason as to why. Really, there is.

First, I was at camp for the week. I go to this week-long camp every year. It's the best place on Earth. I have so many good friends there. And it has nice showers and toilets and beds and air conditioning. It's a camp for like creative, awesome, nerdy, geeky people. And those are the best kinds of people. Everyone cares about each other, and we are all accepted, no matter the race, sexuality, personality, or fandom. We are all nice to each other because we all know what it is like to be rejected. Except some of the band camp people. Band camp people are a little stuck up and cocky. Yes, it's a band camp. But I don't go for band. I go for drama. And that's the best program. I'm not gonna lie. And I had an awesome roommate, that I had known from past years. It's always the best week of my year.

Then, secondly, it was the Fourth of July. Come on, who doesn't take a holiday to light off a few fireworks. We went down to see some family that I hadn't seen for a few years. We went to a parade. My dad saved an old lady. (he does that a lot, but that's another story for a later blog post) He's like Superman for old ladies. Anyways, had a picnic, played some bingo, and blew up some fireworks. Watched the neighbors light 4,000 rounds of firecrackers. I'm serious. It was crazy loud. We set off our own fireworks at home. We had AWESOME fireworks this year. I'm talking the big ones, that only adults should light, unless you are raised by rednecks, then you can light those fireworks when you are ten. (that's not me, just people in my town) I love fireworks :) I love the ones that are bright and colorful. I hate the flashing ones. Fireworks are like America's pastime in a way.

Thirdly, COUSINS. I saw a few cousins I haven't seen in a couple years. You can't expect me to write a blog post while I'm playing with my cute little cousin. I'm not magic. (I really wish I was cause that would mean I could go to Hogwarts!)  He was so adorable. And he loves superheroes, just like me! He even borrowed my Captain America hat and shield and Thor hammer. Yes, I'm a teenage girl with superhero items. I'm not ashamed.

Fourthly and finally, I'm sick. I have a sore throat and a mucusy cough, yuck! My voice is really, really hoarse. I sound terrible. I also have a runny nose, which doesn't help. I hope I get better soon.

This post has been brought to you by the part of my mind called Excuses.

PS: Did you notice the post's name goes in alphabetical order? I did it on purpose. (just don't count and! :))
